University of Houston - Clear Lake, in partnership with the national search firm of Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Assistant Vice President for Global Learning and Strategy and Senior International Officer. Reporting to the Senior Vice-President for Academic Affairs and Provost of the University, the Assistant Vice President is expected to lead a strategic and integrated approach to internationalization at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. The AVP is energetic and demonstrates leadership, initiative, creativity, has the ability to work well independently and in a team environment, and manages multiple responsibilities concurrently. The AVP is expected to possess strong analytical and technological depth, an eye for the possible, proven capacity for embedding enrollment within institutional values and aspirations, and someone who espouses a student centric philosophy. Experience leading and managing education abroad, faculty/student exchange, international student recruitment and contracting services is required.
