The University of Central Florida is partnering with Scott Healy & Associates to hire a Professor & Director of the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders
The University of Central Florida (UCF), in partnership with the national search firm of Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Professor & Director of the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD). This is a 12-month, tenured position at the full professor rank.
UCF seeks an innovative, energetic, and visionary leader and scholar who has the capacity to leverage the size and existing strengths of the school to create a meaningful impact on the discipline, university, college, and community. The selected candidate will lead the school through exciting changes as UCF strengthens interprofessional programming on the main campus in Orlando and the Academic Health Sciences campus at Lake Nona.
The School of Communication Sciences and Disorders was founded in 1969 and was first accredited in 1987. It has a strong history of excellence in teaching, research, and community service. The school includes 24 full-time faculty members serving an average of 200 graduate and 700 undergraduate students. It offers bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication sciences and disorders and is ranked among the top 25% of speech-language pathology programs in the nation.
