University of South Alabama partners with Scott Healy & Associates to hire a new Physician Assistant Faculty Member

University of South Alabama, in partnership with the national search firm, Scott Healy & Associates, invites applications and nominations for the position of Physician Assistant Faculty Member. University of South Alabama seeks a collaborative and passionate educator to serve in this 12-month, non-tenure track, full-time faculty position. The new faculty member’s responsibility is to the didactic class, with certain duties to the clinical class required as well.

The University of South Alabama (USA) is located in Mobile near the Mobile Bay Estuary and the Alabama Gulf Coast with its beautiful white-sand beaches. USA is a public, doctoral-level institution enrolling more than 14,000 students in nine colleges and schools. The Physician Assistant Program at USA was established in 1996, and today, is a Master’s Degree PA program and is designed for the student who holds a baccalaureate degree in any field. The USA PA program provides the student with comprehensive medical knowledge, skills, and attitudes enabling them to engage in clinical practice, and is designed to prepare the student for a variety of clinical practice settings.
